苦難與盼望 (羅八18-25)

一. 苦難是真實的

--- 現在的經歷 (時刻發生)
--- 歎息的聲音 (勞苦歎息)
--- 服在虛空下 (短暫片時)
--- 身不由得己 (不能掌控)
--- 敗壞的轄制 (惡似當道)
--- 共同的課題 (信徒同歷)

二. 榮耀是要來的

--- 算得甚麼 ? (不足介意)
--- 切望等候 (眾子顯現)
--- 得以進入 (自由在望)
--- 尊貴身位 (兒子名份)
--- 榮耀更新 (身體得贖)
--- 信心眼晴 (盼望未見)

知道自已不過是人

詩九篇末一句話，點出現代人與古代無異。

惡人心中沒有上帝，
神的仇敵是流人血的。

但耶和華是至高者，
是人的高臺。

受屈的人，
困苦者蒙祂助佑，且要因祂救恩快樂。

Contemporary voice of God

I intend to preach on Psalm 29 this coming Sunday.I still do not know how to use the verses.But I want to deal with the few thoughts below:

Human sufferings amid life's storms (3-8)
How can it be sure to hear God's voice ? (3-9)
How to respond to the call to worship ? (1-2)
The Lord's sovereignty amid life's chaos (10)
The given peace and strength of God's people (11)

The theme is about the voice of God but how can it be described well ?

God's voice in our chaotic & traumatic lives
God's voice in our worship & service
God's voice in our being His people

Psalm 29

It's an enthronement psalm or possibly one of the oldest Canaanite psalms taken over for the Israelites.

From

The call of God's sons to worship (1-2) to the
The Majestic and Mighty voice of Yahweh (3-9) to
The Peace of God's people.(10-11)

Our reflection here is in order to
bring back order out of Chaos in our lives OR put in another way to
have a proper revival in our lives amid life's storm,we should

Bring to God His own glory with a holy attire (1-2)
Listen to His voice in all aspects of our life
Give God His due honor in Kingship and Lordship

WE should have once again re-orientations in lives in

Our worship and holiness
Our discernment of His voice
Our submission to His Lordship

Meditate on Psalm 34

An acrostic psalm on the knowing of the Lord in times of affliction!

King David experienced the goodness of the Lord through the troubles he went through.

Praise & Boast the Lord
--> Glorify HIm
--> Exalt His name
Seek the Lord
--> Look to Him
--> Call Him
Taste the Lord
--> Take Refuge in Him
Fear the Lord
--> Lack nothing

We have a God
Who Answers our prayers
Who Saves & Elects

We have a Powerful God
Who Cares & Provides
Who blesses His own land

We have an Abundant God

We His people rejoice
We wait for our God
We sing praises to Him
We come to our God

People fears His wonders
People rely upon His strength

Isaiah 25

The Lord is our Refuge,our Shelter and our Shade.

He will keep the poor and protect them.
The Lord will win over death,disgrace and wipe away our tears.

He provides feasts upon His mountain with joyful cheers for those who wait upon Him.

Let's trust in Him !
